We’re seeing more and more on this: 1 million unfilled tech jobs in the US and similar numbers in Europe at a time when youth unemployment is a worrying and persistent fact of life. Only 5% of schools in the US teach computer science – I haven’t seen statistics for that on the UK, but it’s unlikely we’re much better. But kids and parents are figuring this out! Over 28,000 kids a year are going to tech camp in the US. It’s just getting started in Europe and we are delighted to be at the forefront of that. What better way to spend a week of your kids’ summer hols than getting started on a passion that can blossom over time and motivate them to dig into STEM subjects (science, tech, engineering, maths) while making friends and having fun!
